The 'insane' crap lost its meaning to me years ago, I think it's stupid really.

The real conspiracy is that there are no real conspiracies. It's spies planting shit so you don't realise the world is completely normal. Society stagnates when man ceases to dream, so we implant mystery where we can.

Why do people always interject that they are pantsless when trying to look crazy? I'd find it infinitely more puzzling if a man in capris, skiing boots, a shirtless set of long sleeves, and a fanny pack were to be roaming around then some streaker hoodlum.

A) They don't make capris in short and fat, which I am.
B) TvTropes says: Naked People are Funny. (No, I'm not linking you. I may be crazy, but I'm not cruel.)
C) Something that is beyond the realm of your average person's reason, is by definition crazy. Running through the streets half naked is usually not an option. We just so happen to be desensitized to most forms of crazy. See: Kitten Mittens, Mermaid Bone Goods, and Rampaging Elephants.

That last one isn't nearly as crazy as you would think... Elephants can be just as horrible out of DF.

General David Petraeus. No, this isn't about politics or anything alike. I was just struck again this morning by what an awesome name that is. Like out of a comic book. Too awesome to be true.

Petraeus... I was just struck again this morning by what an awesome name that is.

It's the kind of name you'd find on marble busts honoring a hero of the Roman Empire, all implications notwithstanding.  It's just a really dramatic name for a general.
