Aww, it couldn't be that bad. Go hang out with Deon and NW_Kohaku for a while, the upstairs regulars.

Seconding this.

Deon's awesome, NW_Kohaku's awesome, although some of the upper-forums people scare me at times.

So... much... grammatical errors...

Eeeeeeeeeaaaaaa-

* Acanthus117 has committed suicide.

...

* Acanthus117 is revived via a Raise Dead ritual

For some strange reason, the sudden urge to play a VN overwhelms me. OH NO.

I was working on a straight-up romantic VN, but only got as far as writing the sad end.
And I really couldn't draw back then.

I can respect the story-telling attraction behind pretty much any plot, but do you really want to append yourself to fiction, fanfiction at that, which could easily be called Sting lyrics in narrative form?

I'm just kidding around, write whatever comes to you.  Hopefully, one of these days in the near future, I'll actually finally give it a shot myself.  I keep thinking I've finally worked up the nerve to stare my own creativity in the face again, but one thing or another keeps interrupting me.  For the longest time I wondered what the phenomenon was that I'd have huge stretches of free time, and only finally want to do something as other stuff is interrupting me, but I realized (a while ago), that I apparently only have the courage to be creative when I know I won't have the opportunity to act on it.  Something has to break this cycle eventually.

Nah, this was what I was reading--a visual novel called "Don't take it personally, babe, it just ain't your story."  I don't even write about student-teacher crushes, because that is not anywhere near as interesting as the teachers alone.

*cough*

So yeah, my own writing is going fine.  I'm just complaining about a VN I just finished playing/reading.

Make a new thread in a group-buy, Telle?

You write it => I will play it :3

Pretend that your danmaku is VN's.

Success.

Not really.

Do VNs make you pull your hair out at the end because you don't have lolwut reflexes and other hax skills? Also, I want to appease my repressed hopeless romantic side.

I've had enough grimdark depressing shit for a while.

I guess nearly crying at the end of RDR was the last straw. I never cry when I play sad games/watch movies/read, and I just had this really long marathon of reading/watching/playing depressing shit.

Maybe that's why I started playing Touhou...

Also, I would like to see what Ein would write.

I was working on it before my computer done broked the first time, so I have to rewrite everything from the start.

It's not that I hate the minors crushing on their teachers.

It's that I HAET HAET HAET HAET if it's some creepy old guy drooling over his students.

Heard some horror stories from my ma.

All I can say from those is squick.

There were a lot of obvious child molesters in the education system where I grew up.  One of my friends got pictures of the principal hitting on a student.  There was another who had TA's who also happened to be cheerleaders every single semester and would disappear into a back storage room with them for long periods of time during class.  A nearby high school found pictures of the entire cheerleading squad posing nude in their math teacher's desk drawer.  When I moved to my second high school, I heard that the year before two teachers had been caught watching child porn on school computers, and only one had been fired.

I do think the pedophile witch hunt goes too far at times.  It's possibly the most rabid taboo in our society.  But yeah, it's pretty disgusting when authority figures are obviously in those positions just so they can take advantage like that.
