And I thought Warhammer massively overpriced plastic.

I do wonder what you will use the carrying case for, possible friends with similar interests down at the comic shop?

Birthday over as of a bit less than an hour ago. Got the Blanc dans Noir soundtrack CD, pretty much completing my Noir OST CDs. It reminds me of why I adore Yuki Kajiura's work.

Second Madoka Magica OST is already up on YouTube (for now) too, which is also a plus. Yay, music~♥

I get fitted for a fancy suit today, and am meeting with my folks for dinner. I never used to like getting dressed up, but I find myself looking forward to wearing a nice, well-fitted suit again... at least inside, where it isn't already hellishly hot.
:o Please remember to inform if it turns out to be a good evening :)

It was. Saw some distant relatives, had good food, got to see and speak with my grandfather (who is continuing to make progress recovering from his double-stroke), and chatted with my uncle about the usual oddness, including an intriguingly horrible idea for Japanese Nature-Porn circulating around pheromone-based bug traps and beetles.

I also found out that my grandmother has uncovered some stuff about my dad's biological parents, and wants to go meet them with me. I'm... not able to process the last bit until I finish takin' care of business, but learning about my biological relatives and their story is something I've wanted to do since I was a child.

I'm alive! Fuck you, cougars!

To elaborate, I was running through the mountains today and happened upon a pair of cougars. Being in the middle of nowhere, I started sprinting towards civilization, almost 5 miles away. They chased me, but after a mile or so they tired out and I lost them. I swear I heard growling the whole way down the mountainside, though.

I know what you meant, and that is pretty danged awesome, but I pictured you being chased by two 40+ year old women, who were trying to sleep with you.

You survived!  Good job, I guess your running paid off although you stumbled upon them from running anyway.

As for the money thing, it's kinda a combined budget for all gifts this year AND I'm going to have to pay 200 dollars or so out of pocket~ :b
