It's also really, really expensive beer. Presumably because they had to brew it in taxidermy.

I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.

This man has mastered the art of telling stories. It's not even that impressive a troll, but the storytelling is just so... wonderful.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I've watched his Comedy Central special and I love this joke.

Doing math, and rediscovering my affection for Rhetoric.

I'm having a much better time, suddenly.

Noticed someone on the forum using one of my old avatars.
As in, literally, using the copy that's on my img.ie account.
Made me giggle.

Fantasy Football for week 1, what was looking like a losing battle on my end (by at least 20 points; with a Kicker and Tight End left over to score with (usually low scorers that hit a total of <10 points)), I almost won. Instead it ended in a tie. 71 - 71. And I had a chance to beat my brother by at least 1 more point in the last quarter of the last game. Oh well, at least I didn't lose, and he didn't win. With how it was looking this weekend, this was an unexpected end.

Both our scores also land in the center of the scoreboard so far, and for the first week; at least one other player almost breaches 100 points for the week, and the low-ball scores are pretty bad off. Pretty decent start for this season.

I mean seriously, it has 55% alcohol content
That's Brewdog's The End of History, the (now second) strongest beer in the world.

During the Republican candidate debate last night, long-time Republican campaign strategist Mike Murphey was doing some live Tweeting.

Seems like my brain is finally getting over its nutrition deficiencies.  I feel quite good, really--it's a pleasant surprise!
