Two things today (technically):

1. Dorm pool table got resurfaced... in lavender felt, because someone has style.

2. This. Found an author who could make that series appealing, by way of massive crack operating in the form of a pair of genderbending Heterosexual Life Partners stuck in a long-scale Groundhog Day loop. Don't even ask me to explain how it makes me happy, but something just clicked. It might have been because I started reading it at around 4 in the morning after going for three days on fumes and coffee, after gorging on raspberries. Sudden mood shift assisted by exhaustion, ho!

I think perhaps it is time to watch a pretentious European film. Anyone here ever watched Lars von Trier's Antichrist?

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

2. This.
Hey, reload. Just re-read that one a few days ago, after chewing through the People Lie (different author, mind) stuff again. It's a pretty darn decent crack fic, yes it is. Shame it hasn't been updated in a while, but with that particular author... who knows.

I found a gif that could make Janet murder me.

I was unaware she didn't want to murder you already.

Maybe the gif is the tipping point of wanting to do it, and actually doing it?

Hmmm.

Minor, minor, but somewhat cheerful. Noticed it was getting slightly cool outside (Finally! Now if only it'll still be there at noon tomorrow :-\) and a bit windy, so got up and put tarp over baby chicken pen/cage/thing. They're now somewhat less likely to die due to cold-related things! Baby chickens apparently need to be pretty warm for the first month or so of their existence, and they haven't quite reached that far, yet.

Somewhat down side to it is actual owner-person was like, "Eh, let 'em freeze." People, neglect, not with living things! That's like, on my very small list of things I actually ask. Gwarble.

Rush?

Which one are we going for, again?

... though I'd totally dig hearing Rush do a dog-sound version of the Rush discography. Perhaps while driving something, I'unno. By your powers combined, etc., etc.
