The Internet Archive is making classic 70's and 80's games availiable online for free, with a promise to continually expand thier library. Outstanding.

In lieu of going clubbing last night, friend and I went to the shops and loaded up on post-Christmas discounted eggnog instead.
A whole freaking box (12 cartons!) of the stuff.

I guess Christmas ain't all bad after all! :D

But direction without magnitude is a meaningless indicator; direction can't be retained if it doesn't actually mean something. At 0, It's direction is simply null, so Vector is simply nonexistent. You could remove direction, but then Vector would be Scalar.

Enchanted weapons just stop doing their enchantment effect once they run out of charges. You can recharge them, though. Also, Ancient Nord weapons are equivalent to Steel, in general, as far as I can tell, but they can also be used to craft improved weaponry if you play through the Companions' quest, apparently. Good hunting.

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Make Daedric Armor instead, because it looks ten times more awesome.

Actually I should probably just do this.
