That is pretty easy to overcome, just don't put any vital organs in their head.

It would be impossible to make everything about it exactly like the show, but the basic idea is very well-suited to dwarf fortress.  Build walls to keep out the giant people who will hang around forever for the chance to eat you, and would be better dealt with via engineering then direct combat.  But in direct combat, the grisly details would be perfectly suited.  Making the titans themselves would be super easy.  Just make them devoid of nerves or vital organs, except for a single one in the neck.  It'll be even better when Toady implements the creature size stuff that he eventually intends to.  He's covered it in one of the DF Talks - how he wants climbing and jumping all over large creatures in combat to be a thing.

Oh hey, I just found that the team that made DBZ-Abriged and the Hellsing haloween episodes have started an Attack On Titan Abridged series! Yay for hilarity!

I bought Ogre today. Took me a few hours to put together all of the minis and pop out all of the units, hexes, and miscellanea and my back hurt afterward, but it was worth it.

I guess that it could be said that you're

I was planning on One Piece, mostly because it's got a lotta fun stuff I could add and also because I could get into some great DFHack stuff with that.
... nothing against attack on titan, but this sounds like it'd make for something a lot more interesting. One Piece gets into some pretty weird stuff, and the variety et al involved would likely make for a more engaging fortress mode.

Another possibility might be something like Jojo's Bizarre Adventures >_>

DBZ-A started off pretty bad, but got better... Hellsing was just always amazing though.

DBZ-A was when they first started working together and didn't have as much training or equipment. AoT-A doesn't have that particular excuse.

With you 100% on Hellsing though.

Ok look... Right now I'm listening to a Drill Sargent who might as well be voiced by Patrick Warburton grilling the new recruits, and it is pretty damn awesome, so it passes by my criteria.

You gotta remember that seawater is every devil fruit empowered person's weakness. Though with that in mind, how would devil fruit be implemented, along with their powers?

There's plenty of weird stuff in 1P even beyond th'devil fruit, heh :P

More than just seawater is good against devil fruit users, too. S'also some kinda' rock! Could probably dispense with the seawater weakness for playability's sake, but Putnam's apparently pretty decent at that modding stuff so maybe P could figure something out...

No clue about implementation. S'been a while since I looked at modding, ha. I'd imagine it'd be stuff similar to how vampires and crap works, though. Syndrome stuff with a food vector, assumin' that's possible.

On the topic of One Piece, my assumption is the 'One Piece' 'Treasure' is togetherness, friendship, loyalty, and all that sappy stuff. That is, a good pirate crew is bound by indivisible bonds into 'one piece'.

Is that super obvious, or a dumb idea?

You know what's good?

Constant Comment orange tea, brewed straight, with buttered toast and marmalade.
I did not know that. Never had marmalade. Should fix this. I knew the other things. They are quite true.

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.
