My Wacom Intuos Pen&Touch (medium) has arrived.

Time to get drawing!

first thing to do is to draw yourself enjoying your new tablet and learn of the wonderful thing called the automatic inception feature, meaning every time you draw someone who is drawing you'll trigger an automated horn coming from a specialized buzzer in the left hand corner of your new device i'm just checking if i can get you to draw things by decievment, next up is asking nicely
Just make sure when you draw yourself drawing, either leave your drawn tablet blank with your drawn pen not touching it, or draw with a perspective that doesn't actually show the tablet surface.

You don't want to get two layers deep right at first. It can be surprising, and unpleasant.

Red velvet hot chocolate. It's like drinking a cake.

Tell me more sir.

I have no idea how to make it; I found it at this coffee place a friend told me about.

My best guess on the recipe would be melting white and regular chocolate into milk, then adding vanilla and sugar and a little red food coloring. I'd avoid using cake batter directly because I'm not sure flour in hot chocolate is going to give the intended cakey result.

I bought a can of Dr Pepper today to remind myself how it tasted. Yes, it is still good.

So, have any of you 'murricans heard of Clay Bennett? I may not be a local but I can appreciate that he's one of the most talented political cartoonists around. I mean, not everything he draws is a masterpiece, but he manages some pretty damn good ones.

My birthday has turned out to be not as lame as I had expected. :) A bunch of people happened to be at my friend's house where I've been staying, and it became a sort of ad-hoc birthday celebration. Is it strange that I did my birthday drinking in the first couple of hours of my birthday? ???
I'm 21 now, which is weird. I guess I can come over and have a legal drink with all you Americans.

Take one for me at your leisure, Yoink. I'm hoping to have a quiet 21st, as I'm quite definitely the featherweight, and I've many acquaintances eager to see me plastered.

Anywho. We had a surplus sale at work today. I left with the best set of headphones I've ever owned (though these are only 85% functional) and a dvd camcorder that I'm itching to play with, both and more for a bit under ten bucks. Recycling is a wonderful function.

I changed the flag in my profile. I'm waiting on MtF hormone replacement, but I may as well be declare myself trans while I wait. It's going to be a long process.

Good luck! I'm glad the process sounds like it is getting started.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.
