Minecraft movie

Oh my GOD! Why do I want this so much?

Well since it's being done by the co-founder of Rocket Jump (Freddie Wong's ridiculously popular company), it'll probably reach it's kickstarter and actually be a thing.
And decent, if not good. They are pretty skilled at what they do.

There's already been someone who bought the $10,000 reward tier for the movie.  Apparently they really have fans who want to hang out/learn with them.

Explain! I demand a explanation. TELL ME YOUR SECRETS
It is done.

To be honest, at this point I'm just wondering how you'd make a hot-chocolate-level heated milkshake. Somewhat thicker chocolate syrup. Heated, slightly smoother chocolate mousse. Go down like sweet cocoa silk.

I... I've never tried to boil a milkshake. Have a heated one, in general. It's now on my list. Because... why haven't I done that yet?

... thing is, it'd probably just melt. So the question is how to pull off a sweet heated slurry while still maintaining the milkshake texture. Maybe go 50/50 batter/icecream, then add milk while slowly warming? Maybe... maybe something involving peanut butter. I know it mostly keeps its consistency when fairly warm... really wishing I had the discretionary funds to experiment, now :-\
Ice cream melts like a dream, actually. I'd start with that and mix in brownie batter, maybe without egg if you don't want raw egg here. Heat it, but keep it below boiling. Then again, it wouldn't have the right consistency for a milkshake, but might better fit paragraph 1. You could get a start on that by including egg, though, and exceeding boiling so it cooks. Make sure it's not mixed in very well, though, or else it'll just be a good thickener. There'll be a balance to strike, here.

Incidentally, I hear you can also make an amazing bread thing by mixing melted ice cream with self-rising flour in a 4 to 3 ratio, then baking.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Would you mind expanding on this? I feel there is some context here I'm missing but it sounds hilarious.

Quote was posted to a subreddit (basically a board). Hated immensely. It represented every stereotype they were trying to fight against, I guess.

Quote is later posted in the form of an image with the quote attributed to Neil DeGrasse Tyson. It becomes more popular than the other one was unpopular. This is hilarious.

About the may-mays and [le]teral nazis: image macros (which Reddit seems to think are called "memes", example) were banned from the subreddit. Vitriol happened.

EDIT: Turns out that last bit has a title: Maymay June. It was voted "shitstorm of the year" by /r/subredditdrama, which is kinda funny.

After looking it up, it turns out that there was tons of drama. So much drama.

Dem nosehairs too. Least he could do is shave and take a decent picture.

The nosehair appears to have migrated down to his upper lip.

I know I'm real late and this may be a bit secluded from most person's knowledge but I am very much well impressed at the carry-over of events in the first Avatar towards Legend of Korra...
It's so amazing, it scares me on the tangents.

Got the tablet, works like a charm will play with it extensively today.

The only gripes are that it's not as big as I'd expected and there were supposed to be three replacement nibs for the pen that are nowhere to be found.
