Speaking of hoverboards, watch at 3:07 as he pushes off the ground without touching the ground. Also why would you need to push off if the magnets can control directional motion? Also check out how old Tony Hawk is getting oh man where have all the flowers gone.

Generally I think something like this could work if your floor has enormous amounts of electromagnets embedded in it and they're controlled in concert with the magnets in the board. But not out in a parking lot.

Greenpeace recruiters, Christians handing out free literature and Harri Krishnas are all over the campus where I take college classes.

I just successfully avoided saving the environment by pretending to talk on my phone.

I feel happy, and like a terrible person for feeling happy.

Good, I'm collecting strategies on how to avoid those sorts too.

If it makes you feel better, volunteering for such organizations probably isn't the most effective use of your time to accomplish the goal of "saving the environment."

Though on the other hand it'd probably be better than fake-talking on your cell phone :P

But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Well, if you want suggestions, pretending to be texting, talking to yourself and singing (preferably loudly) to yourself are great places to start.

Full eye contact, head stays steady looking straight at them as you pass, shout a strong "NO" in the middle of their pitch. Flip them off above your head after you pass.

Just politely saying "no thank you" has always done it for me.

But we need to be vindictive and mean! Next you'll tell me you don't blow up a bus full of orphans every day to relieve stress.

So um... This happened...
Apparently it's completely 100% real. If not it's an impressive fake.
Definitely fake. The way the actors balance during the takeoff clips is all wrong.

It's not really 100% until you've moved over all the pixels too though. All I'd them.
