I accidentally ordered World War Z in French, as the French version is also called World War Z.
Tried to return it to get a refund, turns out I don't actually have to return it.

I'm not entirely sure why this makes me happy. It's not like I can read the damn book anyway >.>

Had a bit of a depression spiral occur for the past couple weeks, along with a bit of a lack of appetite and such tagging along with it. Just realized that one of my standby meals that I usually make when there's not really that much to choose from to eat turns out to work like a remedy.

Basically, all it really is is a few sprinkles from the spice rack of whatever I can see on it (usually 8-10 different spices and herbs, along with a generous heaping of garlic and onion powders) tossed into a can of vegetable soup, and maybe a small heaping of coconut and olive oil, and a good blotting of soy sauce and a 1-second squeeze of sriracha sauce and a tablespoon of cayenne pepper mixed in, and boiled to a decent concentrate.

I felt depressed and lethargic, and lacking appetite before eating it, and after eating it, it's like my system got a full reboot, and is running far better than usual. Even my stomach feels much better; meaning whatever stomach virus or bug was in my system just got fried into non-existence, and just got my appetite back (felt like my stomach was 1/4 it's size before), and a natural mood swing back into the good again, with a boost of energy as a bonus, despite it being depressingly gloomy out (low pressure system passing through; could have also contributed).

I like it when stuff like that happens; or I unintentionally make a remedy for a relevant problem out of the blue. In this case, a spicy and tasty, while somewhat filling, remedy while at it.

EDIT:
Come and think of it, the beginning of Starcon 2 kinda came to mind, when replacing the cores for the Starbase; as I was feeling better almost instantly as I was eating it.

Why are there so many SFW porn gifs showing up on this board lately, I don't even.

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

On my latest Spore game I've unlocked most of the terraforming tools; enough to build my empire into a glorious conglomeration of perfect planets while everyone else languishes with their shitty T0 planets.
I'll have unlocked every technology soon...and pretty soon I won't need my erstwhile allies that I buy said tech from at cheap prices anymore.
I'm looking at a bit of an expansion coming soon.
Ehehehe.
Dont do it! Galactic Adventures was terrible!
Huh? I already have GA oooohh expansion. I meant territory wise.
I'm using GA so I can have multiple super weapons at the same time.

I danced this morning. Just, danced. Catchy song came on the radio, and I started moving. Felt cathartic.

I've actually only recently discovered what is apparently the nerd phenomenon that is Twitch Plays Pokemon. This is truly hilarious, if only because of how uniquely inept and inspiring thousands of people getting in eachother's way to play Pokemon is.

It makes me wonder though, would it be possible to have a Gameboy emulator that can emulate at thousands of time normal speed, then just hook it up to a random number generator that spams random inputs, then see how long it would take for IT to beat the pokemon games, if it were possible at all?

(Firefox spellchecker corrected me, Pokemon is indeed capitalized :D)

RNG plays pokemon is already a thing. It's super sped up, too. The creator cheated, however, making certain inputs weighted to happen more often.

Well even with truly random input, the game would be beaten eventually. It's just that it might take several billion times as long as the age of the universe.

But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

I'd presume you'd need to mod the game the RNG is playing to give it infinite money and pokeballs, otherwise it'd eventually squander it down and it wouldn't be able to complete any story related thing that requires money.
