I have a new desk. It can allow two screens on my table! I also don't need to deal with anymore IKEA assembling.

But yeah, more space for things is good, and I don't need to worry about as many cables needing to be longer. That nearly bit me in the butt with my older table.

I have just spent the day in the company of my ex boyfriend.

I will leave the details out.

Suffice to say, current girlfriends permission was first sought and acquired.

(The gist of it was that I had lent him a book, I asked for book back, we met for coffee and book-give, book was given, coffee was drunk, and I was invited into his [rather messy] home.)

(My life has been interesting, this week.)

See, when it doubt do the thing.

That's a life lesson I think I learned myself today too.

Just do it, do the thing.

Joss Whedon explains the meaning of life, and I totally agree.
I like his answer for what the most important moral question facing us today is.

I've finally decided to get an avatar!

It only took a day starting with chair breaking under me, followed up by Windows XP finally deciding to bite the dust.

Sometimes doing the thing is fucking the thing.

You can do it, you can fuck the thing. Rail that thing like a Chinese railway.

Had an amusing trip to a nearby cheap shop I hadn't been to before.
Once the shopkeeper decided we weren't there to steal things, my friend and I made some pretty cool finds.
