There are a lot of Youtube people who do the rapid-cuts thing.  I think that cool PBS guy does it, actually?
I find it aggravating but I think it works to grab attention, much as cuts do on television.

Made it to  Undyne in undertale, and I'm having trouble dealing with her. I know I was signing on to having a bad time for doing genocide run first, but I did NOT expect a difficulty jump like that. Still awesome, still loving this, and its so much different than the pacifist and neutral runs I was forced to watch via lets play...
