More than likely it was a mechanical sorting error from an egg sorter, for fertilized eggs.

A duck egg ended up in the chicken eggs, and was hatched inside an incubator.

eh, the duckmother would stand on it. :L it has no need for mothers, its mother is a novelty sock. we will teach it the ways of war.

It makes sense. Ducks do thirst for blood, after all.

Might need to build a little mecha for it to be really effective though.
