One of the most beautiful and sensitive takes I've ever seen on autism. I was legit expecting the worst, but instead, it made me cry tears of joy that I might not be a waste after all. Maybe the world at large won't understand me, but that's okay. I'll find something I'm happy with. I'll contribute something positive of my own to this world. Doesn't need to be practical or useful, just that it was something.

(Although the charity he's fundraising for, NEXT for Autism, is partnered with Autism Speaks, which is dubious as all hell. A bit of a dint, but I don't think it detracts too much from the point being made. Just a fair warning)

Our Water Genasi in DnD 5e combined create water, their racial at-will shape water ability, and a ring of water walking to legit frozone across a large gap. 5ft. movement speed but still.

Talking about DnD, I've volunteered to be a stand-in DM for a oneshot of my own creation this Wednesday. Normally I'd be a player, but another player dropped, and rather than continue the story without them, we're extending the story into a side-adventure. This'll be my first time DM'ing and I'm somewhat nervous.

I hope that the combat sequence I have in mind isn't too hard, too easy, too short, or too long. There's really only about 4 or 5 important enemies that would pose a challenge, but also a gaggle of weaker enemies that aren't a special threat but threaten to stretch out the length of the session. I just don't know how they're going to tackle it, which is the most important part since they're meant to finish it in one session.

Be careful about the action economy. A pack of kobolds can wreck shit on mid level players if they work together and use pack tactics.

Almost screwed it by forgetting my identification (cause I'm an idiot), but luckily there is a pretty big window after your appointment that you can still get it, so after asking if it was okay I just drove home and then back.

The shot itself took all of five seconds and was painless, no real side effects yet two hours in.

Buncha kobold clowns packed into a tiny wagon, each hitting for like +50 or somethin', that's what. There's nothing fancy here, it's kobolds what are also circus performers of the jocular variety, exploiting ye' darke clowne magicks for massive murder hobo killing bonuses. It's a good thing to watch, poor thing to experience. S'like a scaly honking blender/piranha swarm hybrid, it is.
