Must have been one of the later ports. I'm pretty sure crazy taxi allready existed on the dreamcast (which is more comparable to ps1 than ps2)

Just paid the last $5k chunk off of my student loans. That's every red cent taken care of in less than five years, it feels positively euphoric. Finally got solid word on contract negotiations and it looks like we're getting all of our raises and back pay for the past four-odd years of bullshit between management and the union, too. What a day.

You're free! The clinging malaise of student loans is behind you! May you live comfortably.

I bought a bicycle from the local thrift shop today, it's a nice one, but it's from the nineties and seen some scuffs. Just gotta pump the wheels up though, brakes are new and the rest of it's in good shape. No place to go in town on the bike that can't be reached by living in the tiny downtown strip, but damnit, I'm going to enjoy it!

My arms are starting to feel a bit better. The other day I was able to raise my hand close enough to my face to actually shave. And yesterday I played a game where I was hitting a ping pong ball against a wall. I still can't really straighten it out or bend it completely, but by next week I'll probably be OK to visit the ping pong club, and do some laid back playing. It'll still probably be two weeks or so before I'm back to 100% and can really exert myself without fear of hurting myself.

We rarely talk about the upper boards here, but there seems to be a new wave of succession forts forming. Lovely to see new stories and adventures.

I think just a few of the long running forts coming to an end or fizzling out. Perhaps the latest Steam release video sparked some new desire to play, as well.
