couscous would appear to be a meal/method of food prep -- it's traditionally made from durum wheat, but other stuff can be used as well

As I've heard it used, it's a base food ingredient, like [type of] rice, potatoes, pasta or noodles. Its wheat kernels, I believe.

Sadly my second dessert was forcibly acquired by "The Man" on grounds such as "You shouldn't eat two desserts" and "I want some".

But the first one aka, Lil' Breddy was delicious.
Quote from: Me over in another thread yesterday
I ordered a set of gel pens because I've been drawing/coloring at work, and instead of it being 48 glitter pens and 48 non glitter pens with some metallic mixed in (as claimed) it was actually like 48 super glitter, 20 regular glitter, a dozen metallic, and 12 non-glitter.

Since I was only buying it for the non glitter and metalic pens and don't want glitter everywhere over my arms when I color stuff that the pack only had half as many actual pens I was going to use as I thought.

Ima return it and have already made the stupid decision to buy a more expensive one instead.

(If I was smart I would just spend like 10/20 bucks buying a small set of plain and another of metallic gel pens, but I ain't, so I won't)
E:
I've finally reached the teenage girl stage of my life.
So the other set of gel pens (a large set of multiple types of Sakura Gelly Pens) arrived, and I'm super impressed.
The difference isn't just one of quality, but a fundamental difference in type.

The first set of pens I got were basically just pens, but they stuck a ton of glitter in them. Decent enough, but nothing revolutionary.

The Sakura pens I got have like 5 different types, and (aside from the plain ones) they all feel fundamentally different then normal ones in a way that goes beyond them just sticking glitter in them. Its really hard to explain, but they are super cool.

I'm seriously impressed with them, and glad I decided to return the other set and splurge.

I'd mentioned Craiyon before, and after playing with it for a few hours today, I think I found the perfect use for it. It still churns out hilariously fucked up AI generated images, but I got to thinking "What if what it tries to recreate was intended to be fucked up?" and it hit me: Junji Ito. He has such an iconic and recognizable art style, and this AI is actually pretty good at recreating specific art styles, just so long as there is enough material in existence that it can study it for a passable recreation. What the AI always struggles with however is FACES, it always fucks up the faces beyond belief, but in this case that's actually a plus, because Junji fucks up the faces on his characters on purpose, to make them creepy and uncanny. Consequently, Craiyon creates some AWESOMELY IMPRESSIVE Junji Ito fakes. You literally couldn't convince me that some of these were fake if I didn't already know:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

That's just a few I've plucked from a couple different generations, but literally every single one looks it could have been pulled from an existing Junji Ito manga.

You need a specialized manga face generating AI and an AI that slaps faces on where appropriate, and an AI to throw in text generated by one of those almost-comprehensible story generator bots. Infinite Uncanny Manga Generator

I can’t stop doing variations of Pat Morita in Craiyon.

Pat Morita fighting Martin Kove.

Pat Morita teaming up with Martin Kove to fight a tornado.

Pat Morita fighting a tornado, anime. (There was one bizarre cell of Pat Morita in olive drab)

Pat Morita fighting a tornado as illustrated by Bob Ross. (The last cell has a Bob Ross’ face as a tornado)

Bob Ross painting Bob Ross painting Bob Ross.

Pat Morita eating a hamburger.

Pat Morita eating Ralph Macchio.

Infinite rainbow fractal of Pat Morita eating a miniature Ralph Macchio.

Pat Morita smoking Ralph Macchio like a cigarette.

Infinite rainbow fractals of Pat Morita eating babies.

Pat Morita’s secret life as an office drone (he was in an office with a drone)

Send help.
