Dwarves. IN SPACE. A text adventure.
« on: September 26, 2009, 03:37:39 am »

After the year 2000 AD 3 major superpowered factions rose. Each of different race-
Humie Alliance-Them damn Humans. A little more technologically powered then the dwarves but a hell of a lot weaker. Basically an averaged out people.
Kingdom of UBERDWARFISM-Masters of the elements, the dwarves know engineering like no one else does. They are the working man dwarf. They just steal the technology from the humies.
Gay elf Alliance-A race of hippie, incestial breeding tree-huggers. Since the year 1,000 AD they have been at war with dwarfs, and that probably wont ever change. Technologically advanced they have found ways to preserve wood, they consider it a war crime to chop down a single tree. Thus, you can see why their both very gay and at war with every Frickin nation in on Earth. Most technologically advanced but the most weakest of all 3.
Story Stuff-
Set in the year 2200 A.D. Dwarves, Humies, and Gay elfs have battled over the martian planet. Dwarfs? Because of the rare metals. Elfs? Because of possible Terraforming. Dwarfs reek at the thought. Humans? So they could spread their.. Their 'tupid economy. It takes 8 months at most to traverse from Earth to Mars. Nuclear powered thrusters, invented by the Dwarfs[Read:Destruction fueled] is what most ships use for in-system travel. Hyperspace is only possible with the massive cruisers that use up a rare isotope only found in orbit of the gas giant Jupiter. Some mining corporations[Read:Mostly Dwarfs]have settled the asteroid belt, selling it to other people for extremely high prices. You are an engineer dwarf, Urist. Aboard the first and currently only cruiser chassis ship, SS Mountainhome. It holds 1,000 dwarfs for the colonization of Alpha Centauri, stasis technology allows people to not get bored with themselves.
Now let's play!
A colonist comes up to you and asks you a question."Hello? Right, there's a water leak in the quarters hallway 1A. Please go fix it." He storms off in a huff, hoping to get a mop or two.
The intercom chatters online.
"All crew, we are now in transit please get into stasis. That is all."
