Imperium Mafia Discussion

It seems that I have some time on my hands. I want to make a mafia, and I want to do it right. So before I make any roles, I wish to ask a simple question:
It seems no one likes playing in a mafia of mine after about a round, except for some of the newer players. I want to know what I'm doing wrong.

Oh, and this time it won't be chaos.

I think you do good, but I don't play mafia very often so I wouldn't know.
