Yes, there is still a chance. Depends quite a bit on the Elements chosen, really.

Hmm...I've never been a big fan of CCGs - I mean, I did and still do collect Pokemon cards, but I never got heavily into the battling and trading thing.

By definition that makes you a fan since you still buy them.

Didn't someone do the % chance of a normal tower beating a normal cabal and the cabal came out victorious more than 90% of the time or something?

Yes, but given the right set of Element choices the Tower has about a 50-50 shot against a Cabal.

Org, I just need your Element choice and we can run this last duel.

That was me, although it was under the round 1 ruleset. I haven't updated it for the rules tweaks yet being not in this round.

Back to not being here...

  The Final Duel is upon us! We will now see who shall be our new High Mage!

  Shall it be Org, victor of several duels? Or Frelock, who has also demonstrated his prowess in the ring?

  Org stands on the North side, Turquoise rings of fire floating in the air about him

  Frelock arrives on the southern side, his Teal runes flaring around him while great spears of glinting ice rise up from the ground.

  The Marshal signals for the duel to start, and Org launches ring after ring of fire at Frelock. His shields flare around him, but the onslaught is too great. He rolls across the ground to avoid the last few rings and extinguish his burning robes, and hurls a spear of Ice at Org. The turquoise mage dances aside as the ice shatters against the far wall.

  Frelock hurls another spear, this one slamming into Org's protective runes. The runes flare and dim, but the ice is deflected away before they fail. Cackling, Org sends a gout of flame out from his hands to wash over the Teal mage. But Frelock's shields hold, and he sends a hail of freezing water at his opponent.

  Huddling under his shields, Org ignores the hammering rain of ice as he weaves a powerful spell. With a slam of his fist against the rock a trail of fire races forward and engulfs Frelock, splintering his shields and turning him into a human torch. The Healers quickly rescue him before the burns become fatal.

  Org gestures, and rises up on a pillar of rock supported by a column of blue flames.

  All hail Org, Dark Alchemist and new High Mage of the Realms. Tremble, for in his ascent to power shall come chaos.
