In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

:( I hope your hands become better
Well the first line might explain why his hands are that way....

An acceptable attack of opportunity. :v (also thanks Sky <3)

Tried voice-to-text options? I think most of the Windows past XP have a not-totally-terrible one built in. I've been using an older version of Dragon NaturallySpeaking I got for $30 off Amazon to chat with for the past year or so. It came with a half-decent headset and everything. Been in a similar (but really severe in my case) situation in regards to hands RSI for the past year-and-a-bit, so I've had to get to know my options. Works better than you'd think.
Huh, hadn't actually thought of that. Definitely a possibility if the pain suddenly explodes beyond what i can handle, but alas, my anxiety is VERY MUCH in the way of it otherwise. Wouldn't be so bad if i lived by myself, but i most definitely do not. Also, as a side note, it'd probably get confused by my muddled and accented speech. :v

A decade ago, most speech-to-text software I tried had you read out sample texts, presumably to compensate for your atrocious Danish accent. I can only assume it's gotten better from there.

Looks like we're going to start having to grow more food plants everywhere, because the planet has lost a third of it's high quality arable land.

I hate that book passionately.  Had to read it about a decade ago for a college class and could only get through about a third of it, it was that bad.

TF2 makes all of us get angry occasionally.

Just, if it's too bad, turn it off.

It's probably better to vent at an inconsequential thing instead of in a big thing anyway, but I am not a psychology.
