Today I:

* My pet is seriously ill and the vet couldn't tell why

My cat did that. Ended up being an issue with his food. Try raw meat, if possible.

Heiterverzweiflung. Not a legit German word so much as something a friend and I made up in German class once. "Carefree despair". When life is so fucked that you can't stop laughing.

The secret to those immaculate shaven faces you see? Good shaving cream.
i've actually found that using no shaving cream works well for me. haven't cut myself in years.

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Water is necessary. Gotta get those whiskers moistened up before putting them to the blade. I take long showers, though, so it's convenient enough. 5 minutes or so of hot water does the job. Do most of the work in the shower, and the hair stays wet long enough to clean up the edges in front of a mirror afterward.

And a sharp razor. Blunt razors are basically Satan.

The only bit I really have trouble with is the side bits of my dumb face, where there's a sudden corner towards my neck below my ear where the cheekbone ends. Always tough getting a razor in that little nook.

Haven't actually cut myself shaving in a while, although I usually end up with irritated red marks on my neck for some reason. *shrug*

I only have thirty facial hairs, so I find it easier to just rip them out. It's much easier, doesn't hurt, and you don't cut yourself.

I though not shaving and being a lumberjack is the most amazing thing for mainstream lately.
I am very far behind mainstream, though.

I find that facial hair can be really attractive if well groomed and stuff, although on myself I really don't like it and mine grows back with a quickness and it's very much a pain. I am jelly of those who don't have much and don't grow it quickly haha

Nooooooo

My housemate's back from overseas. The one I complained about relentlessly and who is even worse than that annoying lodger we had for a while.
I can look forward to this guy's over-loud voice once again becoming a constant irritation no matter where I am in the house. >_<

...  I really need to try shaving cream.  It's just...  wow, extremely disgusting to me.  Maybe because I've literally never used it (29).
!?!???!?

I mean I guess this breaks my brain because I burn through my shaving cream really quickly since I basically shave about 10 times a day...
