It feels like there is so little decency in my country. I don't understand how patriotism exists anymore when both sides act like barbarians and throw out any shred of humanity, and can still look in the mirror afterwards. There are no fucking heroes. There are no human beings, just monkeys playing dress-up. This country is an infected cyst full of blood and pus. Really the whole world is, but Google gives me American news first.

As someone whom Google gives the news of Western Europe first and those of the US second, I'm afraid I'll have to let you in on a secret: It's not the whole world. It's pretty much just you guys and a bunch of civil war countries.

My pumpkins have been stolen from my garden. They weren't even completely ready yet. Moron fucktards.

I guess I'll have to use landmines next year.

Ok... I know this is a bit out of place here... but.

Can people please just STOP using Homosexuals as your human shield and token victims?

I swear I've never seen a group of people more objectified. It is getting painful!

-Note: Not anyone here... and I am not referring to any specific group...

This pumpkin theft makes me angrier than it should, I guess. But it's so pathetic. I guess it's symptomatic for my neighborhood. I love my house, it's quite large, and I have a huge garden for Dutch social rental housing standards (5x18m backyard, 5x2 front, it's a real luxury, I got lucky for once). But oh gods do I hate the neighborhood. Dutch large cities have a big problems with neighborhoods that have been used for decades to concentrate the poor, the uneducated and the unadjusted into. I live in a neighborhood where, if you are a decent person, or when you're not rowdy enough, you are a pariah. It's unnerving sometimes, but you get used to it. As long as your pumpkins aren't stolen.

EDIT: I was raised in a district just 2-3km away from where I live now. Middle class neighborhood, mostly owned houses, some mid-high class rental. Having your pumpkins stolen there, or acting like a rowdy anti-social dumbfuck would have been unthinkable, and still is. It's weird how much of a difference in culture/social values there can be within one city.
