It was a rude shock to my system to see that it was my boi Kagus who posted that. :(

@Bloop: I give you hugs and warmth and suggest you throw yourselves into a hobby, like music (listening or making it).
If you visit me I would gladly teach you my ways of subduing such feelings through the use of memes, classic literature and heavy metal.

Edit: oh, and substance abuse.
How did I get so forgetful?!

Listen, you wanna trip out on shrooms? Be my guest, hope you have a good ride.

But if you talk as though your every waking moment is consumed by the thought of your next trip; if you not only advocate to anyone but aggressively push hallucinogens on everyone, then I am not going to be very interested in hearing what you have to say.

And if you have the fucking audacity to listen to someone going through some seriously heavy shit and then respond with "Aw that's weak brah; have some shrooms! It'll fix all your everything!", then I will absolutely lose my cool.

I've watched people, friends, lose their minds to hallucinogens. They think they're plumbing the secrets of the multiverse, when they don't even know which planet they're on or who they are or where they know you from. Shrooms are not a fucking panacea.

Don't shoot the messenger.

Don't use shrooms as some kinda cure-all.

And most importantly, don't harsh my vibe, man.

If you don't want to be harsh, maybe don't approach serious situations

But the mushrooms guy was someone else altogether. Magicwizard something...
I honestly don't know why Banjo thought the comments against mushrooming were aimed at hik

I didn't think that, I was just a little saddened by them.

Edit: my second post on the subject was meant more as a "everyone's got a point, to a point, now chill"  than a defense of myself. Not sure if it read that way.
I probably wasn't the least sober person involved in the discussion  but I was certainly up there, haha! 😅

Old folks dont bother asking about having a girlfriend or kids or whatever anymore.  Probably think I'm a lost cause at this point anyway.

Is it because you call them "Old Yeller" (because they're old and yell)? If not, have you tried?

No.  I just feel like everyones standards just go up and up.  Every time I try to go and improve myself nothing even changes.  Not like anyone even notices anyway.

I can't compete when anyone can find better with five swipes on a phone.

You know, when there's a mismatch between who you want and who wants you, you can either improve yourself or lower your standards.

I may as well be invisible to the world.  I don't meet people's standards for getting the time of day.

I've tried a dozen acne products, I've tried losing weight, I've tried medication, I've tried every joke of dating app on the market.  Still the same worthless garbage to society.  Easily brushed aside and discarded for better.

Something that someone who prescribes to big farmer would say, fear of the fungi is a societal issue. You wouldn't be here for not the "shrooms"
Talking about them like its your bro and you're on a nickname basis says plenty about your attitude of ignorance. Secondly I never prescribed psilocybin, i just said eat your mushrooms, something we should do to respect the environment we live in instead of funding chemical blenders and reductionists.
Thirdly I understand your fears and biases. The mind is a terrible thing to behold
