Yeah, I did like five months at the beginning of this and straight-up lost it. Threatened with the hospital and everything. Round two is going more or less OK but I'm digging deep into the emotional reserves.

I hope this can end sooner than later. For me, for everyone whose job is putting them in danger, for everyone whose business has been destroyed.

Wanna enjoy a vidjagame in the meantime Vector? I'm playing Yakuza: Like a Dragon atm and it is just a wonderful game with god-tier dubbing. It's a really great time sink and substitute for human interaction as you get to know your Yakuza posse.

Have you played Spore? I found a website where it can be downloaded for free with the GA expansion, though the servers are down. The game is really fun. I used to have the disks for both Spore and the Galactic Adventures expansion, however through time and computer changes/resets, have lost the disks and by extension what I created before, the game is cool, you go through Cell stage, Creature stage, Cribal stage, Civilization stage, and finally Space stage. The game guides you through the various stages, there are 3 difficulties that you can choose, Easy, Normal and Hard. I’ll put the link to the website I used tomorrow when I get on the computer. I hope the game increases your happiness

yes, EA is a bitch. That was intentional by EA. Maxis’s leader, who thought of the game, wanted it to involve so much more than the final product, the EA shat on it. Here’s a video explaining how EA took the wonderful concept and broke it. Fortunately there are modders who make mods for the game, I will place the link to how I got Spore recently tomorrow

Best not to post that link. It's against forum rules to link to pirated content and "unsanctioned commercial game downloads." The game may be fairly old, but it's still available for sale so the rule definitely applies here.

But yeah, Spore can be good once you get past the wasted potential. I still dip back into it from time to time. It's just a shame that the community is mostly dead since that was the real draw to it.

Oh spore... one of the biggest dissapoints in gaming... curse you EA!

The final, mangled, idiotized, dumbed down product still manages to hook for a while, imagine what could have been if EA were not that idiotic.

There is a free game development called Thrive, their concept is basically what Spore should have been. Being a passion made game it has been in development for many years and still are in the molecular and single cell stage. Not that they are stuck, they release news on progress every month, but development is naturally slow.

Spore's Creature stage was the absolute best. Wiping out every other land dwelling lifeform, dealing with Epic creatures, modifying my species to look cooler and sleeker with every generation. I'd love a more in depth game just based around that.

Day 21.

Condolences to LordBaal's fellow citizens.

@others: yes! i shall play some vidja. Right now I am limited to games that can run on my macbox or my linuxbox since my windowspcbox is sheltering in place a state north. I've been playing a bunch of One Step from Eden and Hades (hit the epilogue on the latter). I have another runthrough or two of Disco Elysium I want to try, and I haven't started Obra Dinn or finished Undertale quite yet. Or gotten anywhere in La Mulana 2 LOL.

I will probably get a couple more in interest of not getting bored. I'm guessing a VN and maybe Slay the Spire and some kind of more traditional RPG.
