Waking up in 2000 and watching the clock tick towards to 2020... the cruellest nightmare

At least you can invest in Google. Laugh at the world from your private island.

I was assuming it only applied to Bay12 members. 2020 definitely ends up different either way.

Honestly there's so much I'd do different if I could go back and relive my life with knowledge of how shit it turned out, the only problem is that I know I would never be able to convince myself to do things differently

God, I remember when all you folks were youngings

Why can't we stay young

Because without age, we could not become wise.

But I am not wiser, just more miserable, despondent, and balding!

Maybe you are the one who causes the accidents by travelling through time to prevent them.

We should get, like, Aston Kutcher to do the main role. This is coming together by itself dudes.

I'm curious as to how a tank would evolve. Would it climb out of the primordial ooze wiggling it's track-nubs, feeding on smaller jeeps before crawling onto the shore having evolved proper treds?

I almost put this in the laugh thread, but figured I'd put it here to be safe.  For Christmas and all.

Quote from: Tycho from Penny Arcade
I hope you've been able to assemble some kind of a Christmas thing this year, even if it doesn't look like it might usually look or feel like it usually feels. It's been a comfort in some strange way to have a house full of Gen Z wastoids, creatures seemingly designed to surf upon the Stygian wave of the end times.

Look, we all know that Z is the last letter in the alphabet. We know what to expect right from the name for our generation.

Welsh alphabet ends on "y", but it is the 29th letter... Am I dead yet?

Iirc the Welsh alphabet still has double U be a UU rather than a VV, which is why we should let the welsh alphabet decide everything
