Any non ambiguous language lacks the capacity for humor. Math and UML are not languages you write jokes in.

Oh, I dunno, Euler's identity is fucking hilarious, especially when you first introduce it to someone, and they inevitably try and rearrange it to evaluate i...

Edit: It is also a great way of showing beauty in maths in a way that ambiguous language just can not do.

Given I didn't say "The Flander's Fields", but "Flander's Fields", and also that I said "The sentiment and feeling," I assumed the "The what now" to be in relation to the latter.

I thought Darvi was making a joke, in that he didn't understand what feeling or sentiment are. And so, as my own particular brand of lll-formed joke, gave a random definition for them.

Which you followed with Sam Gamgee's rant about potatoes from the LOTR movies, which in context to the poem makes negative sense. I am stupider for having read that post.
Stupider is not a word that is grammatically correct. You are most definitely not stupider. You are, however, more stupid.

I thought someone would say that.

You can say stupider, but it sounds more stupid. In many circles it is not even seen as grammatically correct. In fact, it does not even exist in the Oxford English Dictionary.

You can say it. You shouldn't say it.

Not necessarily grammar Nazi, to be honest. Usually I don't care how people spell things, as long as it isn't terrible. But I felt I was being slighted, and responded accordingly. There is some debate around stupider, but it doesn't matter all that much; it is a word, in many dictionaries, though not in my OED one, but that does not make it necessarily correct to use it.

It doesn't matter until you told somebody that it was wrong?

So my internet sucks more than usual (even LOWER than the usual 20/kbps~), I lost my USB which set me back WEEKS (even months) in digital art, planning, organization, RTD notes along with losing a nice bunch of literary stories...
AND THEN NOTHING ELSE HAPPENED. Nothing's getting better.
Why.

That I was told something I posted made someone feel "stupider" didn't exactly make me feel in a good mood.

The "It doesn't matter" is around stupider being a word. Some say it isn't a word, others that it is. I think it is a word, but one that isn't correct. Normally I wouldn't act on something like that, but I was feeling trigger-happy.

@Tiruin
 :( Hope it sorts out soon.
