One of my friends in the dorm just had a seizure. He seems to be coming out of it ok (and this has happened once before) but it's pretty worrying whenever.

That's some stupid magical-thinking there. Like, unless the doctor tells you what's wrong, you're safe.

GUYS I FIGURED IT OUT

DOCTORS GIVE YOU ALL THE DISEASES THEMSELVES

TO STAY IN BUSINESS

don't go, won't be sick, magic
This would be funnier if a minority of people (some of them parents) didn't believe this for real :X

My lack of dry clothes due to yesterday's stupidity means I'm now feeling stupidly self-conscious about my outfit. There's nothing really wrong with it, just not what I'm used to wearing and so now my anxiety's on overdrive.

[I am worried on] How will people react to it, given that I do have to show it (and partly, it is to be shown anyways) :/

Put it in the writer's apprenticeship! That way you can get a reaction in a helpful, constructive, and friendly atmosphere first.

I'unno. If it's written worldbuilding, put it there anyway? Else make a thread in creative projects, and I can guarantee at least one (hopefully) helpful person will see it.  :P

Be reassured that we can preemptively solve such problems. It's true you can't build a parachute in freefall, but you can build one beforehand and take it with you on the plane just in case.

The lesson to be learned here is you need to be like Batman: be paranoid and prepare for every possibility.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.
