-kind advice snip-
Yes and I shall. I just don't want to get a bad rep for not paying out on debts.

If I recall correctly DSs have different type of chargers, don't they?

They use the same charger as the gameboy advance. Or at least, the old generation 1 DSes did. Don't know about these new fangled DSis and 3DSes and stuff.

This conversation made me question just what the plural for DS is. DS's? DSes? Dee-ess-es? Deese? Not a sad, anyway, just a random thought.

'k, here's what you gotta do if you inhaled chlorine gas:

Breathe air deeply.
Rinse your skin and eyes with water if they were exposed.
Take a diuretic like tea or coffee.
If you are having coughing spasms, take a bronchodilator (Bisolvin in SA)
Call an ambulance.
Remember that you are a way awesome person.
Remember that the world would be worse off without you.
We would miss you if you died.

Anything for a B12er. You should really consider going to a doctor. Chlorine can mess your lungs up.

I'm glad you are in reasonable health.

I think you should probably leave it until all of the bleach/ammonia has reacted. Or whatever you used to make the chlorine but I'm guessing that's what it is. Trying to do anything while it's still reacting would be a bad idea.

In the meantime damp towels under the door to stop it seeping out (chlorine is heavier than air). Chlorine is soluble in water though so you probably want to use a towel you have no intention of keeping.
Going into the room is going to be out of the question for a while, unless a window was open or something when you left.

Before anything else, you need to ventilate the chlorine gas. Do not attempt to power through it and remove the bucket, it harms on contact, not on inhalation (though that is worse). Create a path to get it into the open air without actually going through it yourself.

If you have any sense failure, can't breath adequately, or don't stop coughing after around ten minutes, you've done some serious harm and should forget removing the gas in lieu of going to the ER. If you're afraid of getting detained you can tell them it was an accident or experiment gone bad.
