It's a Cave Story reference. That toaster is Balrog, who is basically the slave of Misery (some sort of witch), who is basically the slave of the main antagonist.

It's an old game, but you can get Cave Story+ on Steam, which contains remastered versions of both the music and sprites. You can still change the options to get the original music/graphics, though.

According to the wiki, he was based on a bar of soap but gets called a toaster by players. He does look like a toaster.
