I find it creepy when my mother sneaks up behind me to see what I'm doing on the computer. Or when anyone does that, really.

Even worse is when it's commandeered so that she can look through my stuff to see what I'm doing.

I wasn't meaning hovering-over-your-shoulder, I mean just glance at the screen and see that you're reading something and not watching hardcore pornography. Even at a distance it's hard to mistake the two.

And passwords, passwords, passwords have been my best friend ever since I started using computers. I'm also a fan of folders hidden in unlikely places.

Hardlinked directory looping is also pretty fun.

I do have a password, and have no need for hidden folders. My mom is just a snoop who doesn't trust me.

I lock the computer or open a full-screen program that she wouldn't know how to close such as a game to deter snooping when I leave the computer alone. And yes, I did learn to do that from experience.

Right, actual sads. How long does it take anxiety medication to actually start working? I don't think it's working.

It's been two weeks now, and I don't feel any different. The only difference from when I started taking them and now is that I'm experiencing fewer side-effects.

My parents wants all my passwords. If they find a password and the standard doesn't work, questions arrise.

I think I've mentioned it before. Regardless, since I can't do /that/, i've hidden anything porn related if it's not on the browser inside of an innocent folder. Preferrably two layers deep... I'm going to in detail on this aren't i?

I do the same. My parents don't snoop as much as your mom most likely does, but I'm paranoid as all fuck. If I have steamchat up, I full screen some Star_ gameplay or something. If I'm playing a game, I simply shut my laptop.

Doesn't help that I"m paranoid as fuck, but it helps some :P

Actual sad:

I'm terrible at finding things to do. :c

Anything I want kept secret is hidden in a "config" folder in the data files for GTA Vice City, a place nobody will bother to look which is buried about four folders deeper than anyone will care to look (as if anyone looks for stuff in Program Files).

I made a maze of directory loops to confuse anyone looking for my hidden stuff.

Assuming they get past the BIOS password and drive encryption.

No, I'm not paranoid, why do you ask?

I hide my stuff inside the pictures folder, buried within the folders I use for updating forum games.

Granted, I'm hiding my poems and stories, not porn, because poetry is frowned upon in my family.
I also have my Warhammer 40K rulebook in there, because pen and paper games are, of course, the devil.

*Ponders existance*

Also sad: tomorrow I have to drive to a city an hour away in order to get stabbed repeatedly.
Nerve induction test. :'(

For real?
My parents would be ecstatic if I was writing poetry with any level of competence.
