yea god. My parents aren't even that bad. It seems like it might be more damaging for you to keep them in your life than exclude them. It's hard to cut off family either way.

You don't deserve the treatment you get from them. :(

Remember, quoting Truean = bad.

Her parents are also bad. I'd say more sociopaths than psychopaths, but I'm not an expert. Hope your coming year looks better, Tru  =/

The wiki page for sociopath redirects to psychopath.

The wiki page for sociopath redirects to psychopath.

there is a notable difference. Sociopaths are unable to feel empathy. Studies done on a lot of top level CEOs actually showed a good chunk of them were either sociopaths or had less of an ability to feel empathy and were borderline sociopath. You can exist in society peacefully and be one, you just do not give a shit about what happens to other people, and will crush them if they get in your way.

Psychopaths have altered responses to fear and aggression, and are more likely to be violent. They will be the ones that go on killing sprees while the sociopath is scamming the elderly out of their life savings.

Not that sociopaths can't be killers.

Remember, quoting Truean = bad.

No worries; I've done it before too. It's a small thing to prevent more stress on an already stressed person =D

I...
Kidnapping most of GD's and FG&RP's population and keeping them somewhere where they can be safe and happy and not beaten up by parents or have their every move controlled or whatever is seeming like a better idea by the day. Honestly, I'm not sure how I feel about this, or what it says about me as a person.

why is quoting truean bad?
I personally have a thing about being quoted, but that's mostly because I'm gutless and want the safety of the knowledge that I can reverse my unpopular opinions or too-vulnerable thoughts at any time.

As for sad, I basically just had a dream which was the complete opposite of the Christmas story. It was a long, abstract, and too intimate one so I won't describe it, but basically again and again I put in situations where I would play them out and then at the end have a horrible realization about how horrible, or screwed up, I or my life is.

I've realized that the happiest time of my life was when I was persecuted by everyone around me- and I realized that doesn't make me special at all.
There's more but tl;dr basically I woke up feeling like I'd had the opposite of an epiphany, and now i'm just really morose.

I'm trying to find a non-LGBT related version of "your holiday mom" because seriously, I wish there was some way to make this stuff better. It just shouldn't happen.

Got woken up at around noon. Had to sleep on the couch. My back still hurts from it, and I barely slept last night.

Got rushed out the door by my mom because we apparently had to get to my nan's immediately for dinner. I wasn't even allowed to clean myself up. I tried to, but my mom told me that I would be able to do it later. Once we were actually out the door, she spent the entire car ride complaining about how I look.

We went to a gas station to fill up. I had to pump gas, and was told to put in $25. No wait, $30. No, I changed my mind again, $25. Wait, no, $30. Hey, you fucked up! I wanted $25, and you just put in more than that!

I was sent in to pay. When I got back to the car, I was given shit again for my appearance.

So we went back to the apartment. Not sure what the rush was, since we sat around for a few hours before actually leaving for my nan's. We left around 3:30. We got there, and of course the food wasn't ready yet. The bulk of my mom's conversation before dinner was ready was "I'm hungry".

Getting my mom and her mom together is never fun. Either they are at each-other's throats or they are gossiping and badmouthing friends/family/acquaintances. There was a lot of bullshit going on in the conversations tonight.

I'm currently at my dad's right now. I don't think my mom's happy that I'm spending the night. Usually she tries to get me to just drop off gifts and then immediately leave.
