Though I might suggest she makes the font on that part of her sig bigger, if font code works in sigs that is. To decrease the chance of people missing it.

It doesn't, alas.

Of course, images in signatures can be up to eighty pixels high.

Images in signatures? What?

I've never seen anyone with signature images. I suppose there's a setting for it?

You need to enable them in your own profile, they're hidden by default.

I have signatures entirely disabled. Too much clutter.

Darvi has one, I think I've seen a few others. They're not super common.

Sad: Once again I am fighting falling arches.

I don't really like the clutter either, but it lets me identify users on screens too narrow to display message and avatar at the same time. If I can't recognise them by writing style, anyway (you guys are more distinctive than you may think).

Also occasionally one of the quotes is genuinely good.

I believe in that case it was a settlement. From what I understand, usually companies settle out of court to keep things out of the public eye, and by settling out of court you generally agree that a) you can no longer sue for that issue and b) you won't discuss the case. Technically a settlement wouldn't be considered a success to me at least, since there's no admission of guilt.

EDIT:
Ah here: http://www.cnn.com/2014/03/02/us/facebook-post-costs-father/
So ya, they settled. Technically they do mention it was a successful suit, but I still feel like having to keep it quiet is a loss.

For some reason I feel awful and can't sleep.
I was going to try and explain the feeling but I'm not sure how. I just woke up feeling uncomfortable and nothing I did seemed to make me feel any better. Maybe I'm sick or something. Bah. I need sleep.

Big party tonight, I'm foolishly attending despite feeling utterly shitty today. Not sure if it's depression or just being tired at this point, I know I'm a joyless bastard right now and the last thing I want to do is be with people.

Too bad I already said I'd go. Worse yet I probably won't be able to drink anything, so it's going to be even more awkward and uncomfortable for me there.

Fucking planning ten days in advance.

A p-party... without booze? D:
Oh gods. You have my sympathy. I wish you luck making it through the ordeal with minimal discomfort and misery.

Finally someone who agrees with me! You're a smart person tim, have I ever told you that?

Not that I can't understand why some people settle it out of court, medical issues for example, where it's important to get treatment fast rather than fight at court. But I still hate the whole "throw money at the problem till it goes away" attitude most large companies and rich people have since it allows them to go without admitting any wrongdoing on their part.

On a completely unrelated note, if someone were to make legal drama based on Truean dealing with her idiot clients and colleagues, how many people here would watch that?

Given what little we've overheard here on the forums, it still sounds compelling.

Only if some artistic license could allow story arcs to end happily.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.
