Well, today I learned my showers make blood feel cold.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Also my family is back, after leaving me home alone for two days while they went to my little sister's basketball tournament in a city four hours away.

I still don't know why my mom was worried about me committing suicide three days ago... If I was going to, I would have done it while they were away.

Wait, what the fuck? If she was legitimately concerned about you committing suicide, then unwisely leaving you alone in the house for two days would be quote most irresponsible.

Yeah, that's pretty ridiculous. I wish you had a less sucky mother...

I have now had this cough for several weeks, and it is beginning to get me down. I also... didn't have a good night last night.

Edit: my wrist is killing me. Someone estimating my age based purely on how well my body seems to work would probably think I'm in my seventies.

Tonight is not a good night either. Looks like I still bleed red, huh.

And now I've got a binding on my wrist. Endless improvements to my life!

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Eagh. I can't stand having long hair. It's so inconvenient. Short - i.e. almost shaved - looks much better on me.
