But... why? I'd be surprised if anyone here is actually apathetic, a la "Urist doesn't really care about anything anymore"... more along the lines of "X happened, which is kinda bad, but I'm not going to start crying about it and become crippled with depression for the next few days, because that won't help anyone."

I dunno.... maybe consistency?

There used to be people who were nice to me and I end up growing really attached to them, and when they leave me or just aren't there when I need them the most I find it very hard to trust them afterwards.

I haven't seen the complaints in question but I assume it's mostly anti-Homestuck sentiment.  Maybe not though, IDK.  Your avatars look fine to me.
