Accept death for what it is, be ready for it, everyday, prepared for its arrival, and it will lose all power over you.
Facing one's fears is not a matter of fighting back, but accepting them, embracing them.
Hug your shadow, don't stuff it in a sack.

Sounds like a quotation from Hagakure.

Also, what Ein said.

You can stuff your shadow in a sack!? How!?

Oh god... My insides are burning from saying that.

Bleh, fucking nightmares and flashbacks and what the fuck else... I genuinely think my body's trying to convince me that it's had enough and wants the sweetest slumber..

You're still here, aren't you? You may have the worst of it behind you.

Death fantasies work as a coping mechanism as well. At least I feel better afterwards...
Lucky I don't have the guts to execute any of the plentiful plans I have worked out over the years.

Thinking about that sort of thing in extremely vivid detail was what led me to realize that what I really wanted was to be treated well and to be appreciated, not to die.

Not that I'm advocating that.

Wanting and getting are two different things, unfortunately >.>

Here's a little book that I never actually read but was recommended to me nonetheless.
I'll probably read it later, but so far, the Art of War has served me just fine.

They sure are, but I knew I wasn't going to get what I wanted if I was dead.

Huh, but for a dead person that wouldn't matter much, would it?

Anyway, I think this was enough on suicide for now.

I think my mum's about to go through one of her paranoia "episodes".

Shit...

How does this manifest itself?

Meanwhile, I'm looking forward to a very uncomfortable dinner...

So, my favourite pillow (read: the one I wrap my arms around when I sleep) has a red plaid cover.
I didn't really make the conscious connection before, but I unconsciously associate this pillow (and, as a result, its smell) with Yuuka.
Essentially, without realising it, I've taken possession of something I loathe and I'm realising that I don't loathe it?
And it's weird, because it's not really making me sad so I don't know why I'm posting it here, but bleh, I was just about to fall asleep when the revelation came to me, so yeah.

I feel Battler would disagree with you on that.

Sounds a bit to me like you just need someone that you can truly trust. Do you really trust anyone?

Not really.

I can write some mean snail mail. We can communicate like it's 1999.

Yeah, I would join in. I look up towards you, because your a good influence on us, and you come off as a really nice person.

This would help.  I have a number of other letters I have to write before I can accept your offers (there's this little pile of post I have to reply to, and I'll feel pretty bad if I don't respond to those people first), but afterwards I'll work on it.

PM me your address, Ochita?  I'll put it in my address book so that I can write to you soon.
