I'm talkin' about the price of a six-pack from the store. My state has very high liquor taxes, and a pack of Corona cost like $16 last I checked. I may be misremembering.
Holy shit. You get a six-pack of decent beer for 3-5 Euro here. There are cheaper ones, but they suck. One beer at a bar is 2-3 Euro, so starting to drink before you hit the bar is a good idea.

Sad: I'm having a "Flowers For Algernon" moment. Ugh.

I don't have neural tube defects to deal with, but I get that way toward the end of the week. I can actually feel my mind grow weaker.

I hope the feeling is a transient one. I'd hate for your choice of description to be perversely prophetic. :(

That's actually why I chose it. Combine the neural tube defects and a handful of severe concussions (and untold amounts of smaller ones), and you have a pretty handy recipe for losing your mind. I had a sit-down, and I feel a little better now, though.

Holy crap, why did I not start watching One Punch Man earlier? This is the best thing.
probably figured an autobiography wouldn't be interesting

Quiet you. You didn't get concussed from the time travel. You don't even have that many concussions yet!

Well yeah, but it's a social thing after all - you basically pay for the privilege of sitting around. Not that I don't like it, but it's kind of absurd...
Solution: buy some liquor at the store and invite friends to drink at your house.

And here I thought getting run over (3 times!) Was impressive.

I've been hit twice, if that counts, although once was by a Ford F-350.

O.O

Most impressive recovery of that type that I've seen was a very tough lady at the karate place I go to getting hit by a bus and recovering within the year, but that's not me.

The truck went off the road (at over 70mph,) in the early winter. His plow hit the snowdrift I was standing on, launched me up onto the hood and through the windshield. I wasn't seriously hurt, although I did have some aches and minor cuts. The other car that hit me was a Dodge Neon.
