I've been finding myself in the situation where something makes me sad, and then I forget what it was, but the residual sad is still lingering.
I think it's related to the fact that I'm starting to lose the ability to distinguish days apart due to them all being so similar.

Also, I've been coughing a ton lately because it feels like there is a bunch of fluid in my throat and lungs, and my nose keeps bleeding.
Not sure if the two are related or not.

As this point we might as well invoke interpretive dance and call it a day.

I get it annoyingly often, it tends to go away after a day or two.

Technically, yes.
Or are you meaning in the thread? I assumed you asking about doctors in my area.

That there are, in fact, licensed medical professionals in my area.

Competency not guaranteed.

And, naturally, your avatar said "Ever think of that, fucker" as I read this.

That's the problem with a rotating avatar.

I know military first aid! And feeling that you have a lot of liquid in your lungs is not a good sign, mastah, trust me.

Yeah, I know it isn't a good sign, I have a lot of things that are generally considered "not good signs", but overall I've gotten used to them, and they only bother me when they occasionally pop up, and they usually go away soon after.

Had a lot of people passing through the house today, and someone didn't get the gate closed right (they closed it, but the bottom of it is rusted out, so you often have to reach down and pull the bottom edge into position. We haven't been able to fix it yet because there's been so much goddam snow around until very recently), and the dog slipped out without anyone noticing for a couple of hours. I'm not particularly upset about this, as I don't like dogs much and wouldn't have one by choice (my uncle moved in with a woman about six months ago, and her place didn't allow dogs, so we took his), but my nephew is going to be heartbroken when he gets back tomorrow if she doesn't turn up. It is a very sad day when you're hiding all your dog toys in a box to delay a three year old noticing the dog is missing (he tends to notice her when he picks up one of her toys to play with her, or when she wants out.)
