You should come on in anyways, Yoink! If you weren't including Sky in that then that just leaves Wrex, and while he's kinda a jerk... uh... The rest of us make up for it? :V

Don't spread channel drama to the forums like this, tuypo. It's the same principle of why we don't post about drama in other threads in the emotion threads. It's bad taste.

It is really hard to work on learning things while feeling relentlessly and irrationally sad about things that are entirely out of your control at this point. Stupid housing market.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Don't worry, it's legal if you're not paying them. Edit: In case it's not clear, I'm not paid because I'm a student. Also, I suppose that's a bit of an exaggeration because there's some travelling time* involved, but the day still feels like constant work.

Ouch, good luck.

*I keep misreading this as time travelling. Nope.

the ops on #bay12lb hate me  :(
My first iteration of seeing this was because you linked to 4chan just as you entered the channel. Not just 4chan, but /b/. Linking to things that are above PG-13 is basically the easiest way to get kicked from #bay12lb, and you should keep that in mind when you're going there. That's actually one of the few rules.
