Well on the bright side, you now have experience in shoveling dirt and gravel.

Which, y'know, could come in handy with regards to the sister...
The dirt and blood are bad things, Kagus.

Got home without a hitch, walking has the effect of calm me down. Still pretty sad about it because wtf would she be like that. Well, it's her problem, not mine and next time she call I'll simply say nope.

Now it made me sad I burned all that extra energy. Water should suffice for the thirst at least.

New boss is a prick. I'm sorry to tear you away from your sparkling discourse on PS4 hard drives, but my fellow cashiers have left every single drawer totally bare and I need more money to keep checking people out. You know, my job! Why does doing anything have to be a constant battle with my coworkers?

I have the feeling that no matter how many schools I attend or degrees I earn, no matter where I live, no matter how hard I work, no matter what I try, I am going to spend the rest of my life behind a counter earning table scraps. I could try to be a "backup" supervisor again, which means I do a supervisor's work almost every day for no extra pay while literally everybody else gets promoted. Even if I did get paid extra I'm sure the government or my family would find some way to suck it away from me.

I thougth of that. Maybe she really, REALLY didn't wanted to see them or something? Dunno, I tend to not be nosy about anybody life.

She could have told me and I would have understand and help her anyway because Im just that stupid. I suppose I could have asked her, but most likely that would have resulted in another salvo exchange of insults.

That doesn't justify the rudeness

Shit, I just heard EA's studio in Melbourne Australia is having massive layoffs. A couple people I went to college with got jobs there. Listen kids: AAA game development is a grueling industry with horrid hours and unstable employment.

Most DLC, microtransactions and day one patches are worst.

ArenaNet is following suit with planned layoffs as well.

Seems like a twisted race to see who can fire as many folks as they can. A sick fascination with the thing makes me wonder who is going to be next :V

Wait before they realise the most efficent way is having a single employee who leases the IP licences to proper gamedevs so it turns into an endless cycle of growing successful enough to be publicly traded, firing all but one guy and then licencing shit to smaller companies, which in turn become big enough to go publicly traded, firing all but one guy and the licencing shit to smaller companies, which in turn....

Did you send them into the blissful sleep of death, or are you going somewhere?

You can't choose your family, but you can choose kebab.

Also, yeah, on my phone there was a line break just before "man", so it looked like you were mourning the tearful parting with the kebab itself. I just went along with it.

You don't feel relief, or a rush of joy at finally being free when you say goodbye to your family? Weirdo.
