As someone who has felt bad for most of their life; and who has been told that it was their own fault for feeling bad, and that they'd feel better as soon as it meant enough for them to change their mind about feeling bad; and who spent a great deal of effort trying desperately to just stop feeling bad before eventually settling on not feeling anything because that was the best they could manage and it served the purpose of not getting them in trouble for having bad feelings...

...I'm sorry, but Prince Gautama can enlighten these nuts.

That said, I don't really know where scriver is coming from. I don't interpret the quote as dismissing Yoink's musings on normalcy in any way.

Brain working worse than normal, so I'm trying to avoid politics. It, however, is trying to force it's way into our lives more than ever.

Albert Uderzo died, age 92.
He had a good long life, still sad, I grew up with Asterix and Obelix comics.

Unfortunatly in the US I've only really heard of the comic from taking french in high school.  You can find books of it but most probably never heard of it.  Still seems like kinda a cultural keystone in france/europe.

I'm missing two health care appointments today because minor ill feels an one of them is my shrink doctor who I need yo see to have my sickwrit prolonged.

Also one day at home doing nothing that I don't usually do and I'm already bored as fuck. Why, it doesn't make sense

Also, currently even if I became completely well by tomorrow I still have to stay home Friday according to health authority guidelines, which means either way I miss out on the only highlight of my workweek as of these times -- saying hello to the cute Vitamin Well girl who comes to our store (yes I am that pathetic, shut up, her smiles light up my day and I don't be ashamed for looking forward to them ;) ).

Apologies to all who suffer serious consequences because of corona. I feel like I'm just bitching about insignificancies and being an arse for feeling annoyed that I have to be the slightest bit inconvenienced over things guidelines that I need follow to protect others. But still.

Edit: Expect shit post frequency to rise correlatively

Yeah, I mostly heard of them through The Place That Sends You Mad.
