Why does everybody use Imageshack or Photobucket?  IMO, imgur is way better.
People use them because they're more popular and more widely known, not because they're in any way the best out there.

I'd hardly call something that uses over a terabyte of bandwidth a day "unpopular".  http://imgur.com/stats/
