Funeral Pyre

Let's admit it.....there's no better for a dwarf to leave this world than engulfed in flames. I propose we design a pyre on which to burn our fallen dwarves to ashes that the gods can may breath in.

It'd obviously have to be re-usable and flooding the dorf in lava isn't really a "pyre" so what have you guys got?

I was thinking more of surrounding the body in booze and allowing some nearby magma ignite it. Obviously this would be only for the highest ranking dorfs. Right now I'm just looking for a good design based on that or any other working system someone can post.

Can you cage a fire imp safely?
Then point it at the pyre?

Otherwise maybe built on grass and start a grass fire.

tou could make a massive steel pyre then drop into lava complete with steel sarcophoguses.
