Store those blocks!

I have a mason's shop all CLT'd with mudstone blocks, and a stockpile a few squares away set to hold all types of Bars/Blocks (with an empty bin waiting), but no jobs are queued up to carry over the blocks.  What am I forgetting?

Either you have somehow forbidden the blocks, or you haven't any idle dwarves to generate tasks.

Usually this kind of stuff is painfully obvious once you find it; I hate waiting 5 mins. for my miner to dig out a large section of rock and then realize that I accidentally trapped him in with a line of floodgates or something.

Can dwarves path to the stockpile and the masonry? (maybe the workshop is blocking the path? I swear that's happened to me once)
Are there any idle dwarves that have the right hauling labor on?
Are the blocks forbidden somehow?
Is the stockpile REALLY set to take mudstone blocks?

Are there dwarves wandering in that area doing other things? Maybe you have a door locked leading to the mason shop or to the stockpile.

If the stockpile is not connected to the mason underground, can your dwarves go outside to reach it?

one thing to check as well would be whether or not the stockpile is allowed to use bins....I have placed some stockpiles like food and found them set to not take barrels on occasion....not sure why but yeah....
