Mafia is a game that you learn really really fast if you are just thrown into a game. I would suggest joining the next Beginners Mafia (there should be a new one in a few weeks) where you can play with other newbies.

We could do that. I might have to avoid it because Rule 1 would be lynch Webadict.

Some of these older mafias look like they were really fun.

paranormals, kingmaker, and one of the DF mafias(The one with the sly elf) seem to be really awesome games to me.
