We're back to 0 games in signups.  I'll go ahead and volunteer myself to host another- Kingmaker is pretty low maintenance for modding since I don't have to do vote counts.

What would people like to see?  I have a larger (13p) game I've got an idea going around for, I want to try Deep South at some point, I've got another idea that is flexible in terms of size (so it'd be a good choice for a smaller game), or I'm open to suggestion.

Well, we do have four largish games going on (five, when Arg starts BM19), so I don't know how many more we want concurrently (I know I can't personally keep up with more than two or three). I'd be interested in playing a role-heavy thing, or the next Sorcerer's Apprentice, or the next Paranormal/Supernatural after Meph is done with the current one.

I also had planned to bring back the Vengeful Mafia series, now that a suitable mourning period for VM5 has passed, but it won't be until next week (assuming interest) or later (if we feel there are enough games for now). Hopefully this time it'll have a better fate.

Once I have some more time, I thought of:

Why Would You Do That?: A Mafia Misadventure

Every player sends in a text string, image, Trope Page, or whatever - ANYTHING. It will then be their role. Or be incorporated into their role. Or be someone another player's role or incorporated into another player's role. The game will include elements of many other games from the forums. It would be ideally 13 or 15 people. Not Bastard Mod - you'd know your role and your win condition; if appropriate, you'd know your teammates.

I don't intend to even put it in signups until every game I'm in is done. I'll also want Zathras running his LurkerTracker for it.

Oh my god, that sounds amazing.

AMAZING!

Though I'm wondering if we should quietly retire the gametypes thread.

I am thinking about doing WIFOM Mafia.

You really like that one, it seems. One of the biggest potential issues is simply that it might be hard for the players to figure out what's going on. I have no idea how to solve that problem without making the town really powerful.

Hmm...I've never been a big fan of CCGs - I mean, I did and still do collect Pokemon cards, but I never got heavily into the battling and trading thing.

By definition that makes you a fan since you still buy them.

What.

Edit:Anyway, without making one side over-powered, I think I could reduce the number of poisons the mafia can use at night,

Pretty sure I have some good, well balanced roles.

And, seeing as how Werewolf is canceled and Kingmaker is running, I believe, I think I will skip ahead into sign-ups.
If no one minds, of course.

I'd enjoy another BYOR or something. Those are fun watching.

I can't run two at once. That's just selfish.

I was thinking I'd like to try my hand at one.
I'd need help at balancing though.

Sorcerer's Apprentice III is in signups for those interested.

Any skill level is welcome, so long as you promise to be active and think you can follow what's going on.  So far as being active, I have a relatively strict lurking policy (see the Rules section), but so long as you can post one decent post per day / 24 hours, you'll be fine.  If you haven't played in Sorcerer's Apprentice before, I strongly recommend reading the previous two rounds for the basic idea.

Previous rounds:
Sorcerer's Apprentice
Sorcerer's Apprentice II

I'm thinking Supernatural 3 is next for me.

We don't look to heavy on games right now, but I'm also not sure how people's schedules look.

Any objections to me throwing it up to sign-ups in the next few days?

How much demand do we have for Why Would You Do That: A Mafia Misadventure right now? If BYOR5.5 continues to be as not-fun as it has been, I might start signups for WWYDT: AMM and then request a replacement in BYOR5.5 if it's still running by WWYDT-o'clock
