2nd Timber, 17, Late Autumn.
I found another kitten playing amongst the bones, I have taken to calling it Zaneg Udeshcatten(Skinchanneled).

10th Timber, 17, Late Autumn.
Some migrants have arrived, despite the danger. There were 6 dwarves in total, with a donkey foal and a puppy in tow, I have asked some of them to get some practice on the catapaults...

1st Granite, 18, Early Spring.
It has been a year of hard work and sacrifice, but we have come through with hope for the future. With luck we may have a working hospital by the end of the year, the mountainhome seems to have gotten word of our survival, The bedrooms now have basic furnishings, The water diversion is finished, we have harvested a couple of locally grown Tower caps, and our armoury has been bolstered through trading. I have decided to concentrate on my crafts and let the others manage without me, they are a strong band and should do well enough...

I have the underground river set up so that the whole flow can be extended into the fortress at the flick of a lever. I also have a reservoir/flooding chamber set up that just needs to be emptied out and the power hooked up...
