Assigning a bedroom to one dwarf automatically assigns a
« on: August 20, 2006, 11:05:00 pm »

Version: df_21_101_19a

Assigning a bedroom to one dwarf (one of my recent immigrants), automatically adds another dwarf  (also a recent immigrant) to the room as owner.  That is, there are two owners for the room.

Is this intentional?  There is only one bed, so are we seeing some kinky dwarf behaviour between these two gentlemen?

Dirty dirty dwarf lovin'.  Naughty.  That is NOT what I meant when I told him to get wood.

Ahh ok..  One is female.  Good catch.  They don't have the same surname, however.  Should they, if they are married?

Yeah I'm pretty sure it means they're married. I know some of the migrant dwarves come that way.

I do not however know, if it means they might need two beds? I know they SHOULD share a bed, but in the game do they actually?

Yes, they will share a bed.  No, they shouldn't share last names.

Children will eventually get named after their parents, once the relevant cultural options are implemented, though.  Maybe I should say "may eventually" as opposed to "will eventually".  It's probably pretty low on the bloatlist.
