Its second name is "the Paper of Scholars"? All these elves had pretty nasty papercuts, I should say.

has anyone tried shoving their matgloss_minerals into, say, a creature file?

and is this silliness the direct result of an extremely unlikely bug, or is it a crafty invention of Toady to show you that the raws shouldn't be trifled with?
The raws wouldn't be there if he didn't want us doing stuff with them.  The stuff the game actually uses is data/objects, hence why the contents of that must be deleted when removing entries from the raws.

Alternately: The Brick Testament. It's a really fun look at what the bible would look like if interpreted literally. With Legos.
Just so I remember

I haven't had any of this happen, but I did once mod my Carp to be size 80 and amphibious. They also tried to steal my stuff and could spit webs and breathe fire. My forts did not last long at all, and reclaim very quickly turned the fortress into a crematorium.

On the other hand, my Dwarves really liked their carp silk socks.

Tried it. In legends there was a sentient amphibous adminite that ate a dragon.

This is both a thread for an old version, and it's 13 days old. ::)

Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

OP:
I laughed so much, but if I was you...I would..laugh?

Today my best Mason (in a population of 30) falled inside a murky pool, while building a wall that I built carelessly, and collapsed.
I tried building a stair, and I had a flood gate there right beside the guy, but no one wanted to obey the "Pull the Lever" order.
He died 3 seconds after the floodgate opened. And I...felt bad.

Just imagine if something like that happened to me, I'd get depressed and jump into magma

It honestly feels like a lot of their problems came from the fact that their entire team was composed of cats, and the people who were supposed to be herding them were also cats.

Well, To stay on topic, I once duplicated the human file accidentally while trying to make a different race. It erased humans, gave gremlins and trolls civilizations, appearantly turned kobolds into badasses capable of turing back entire armies of elves with a few kobolds, and made gobbos the dominant race everytime I genned, except once, when almost entire region was mountain, then dwarves took over.

To have some !!FUN!!, Who wants to make it a game? Duplicate a raw, tell us which, and lets see what comes out!

To this day the elven warrior castes hunt the enemies of nature for the purpouse of bringing back slain intelligent beings for consumption by their leaders and generals, for the good of nature and the survival of elvenkind.

And that is the story of how napalm was invented.
