Swineflu or not, Toady will survive.
I survived swineflu and I am a person of no importance. That means, Toady will have no problem at all surviving that pesky flu  ;D

He's probably stricken by a fey mood - sitting by his computer "workshop", crafting a artifact patch to dwarf fortress... Too bad he's already legendary :P

I see some of you have been thinking the same things as well...

We haven't heard anything from ThreeToe's since the announcement. And as far as I recall, assuming this is the average flu. It is said that it can last up to 5 days and afterward you are still felling weak and sick for a few days following that. We'll likely not hear from him for a few more days.

Though I think it would be nice if ThreeToe's could give us an update on his brother's condition. Cause after all we're all worried about our game creator here. Especially since it's been 4 days since we last recviced that information.

I had the flu more than once in my life, and never I was so sick as to be unable to at least sit in a computer for a few minutes. I fear he had to be taken to a hospital or something as such.

It's good to stay of the computer when you have the flu.  One time I was so delirious I named my feet and came up with a weird narrative for them.  I've forgotten most of it.
